It Started at Home
The earliest memory I have of my own hair was me not brushing it properly and putting it in a ponytail every day until a giant dreadlock appeared in the middle. My mum was so proud of me taking on my own hair but hadn’t realised it was just the surface. She went to brush it out and gave up against this huge dread that was going nowhere. The Challenges of Curly Hair
Now, don’t get me wrong. Caring for 5 curls is NOT easy. Goodness me. Finding the right products and routine was the number one struggle that birthed CURLiD’s first baby, the hair analysis kit (you can read more here). The Detangle Dream is my number one go-to. Of all the brushes, this is the one that detangles with ease. I found it a bit tricky to get to grips with at first, but once I knew, that was it. 2016
Our first son Rocco was born the same year we got married. He made me a mum for the first time!
2018
I was given my first daughter Robin. The one who would change my hair story for life.
2020
Our second girl joined the family I was just so happy they would have sisters. My sister is so special to me.
2020
I first setup CURLiD, in the middle of my pregnancy with my 4th. A crazy decision but well worth it.
2021
Boy number 2 came and made my husband (Jason) a happy man, he always wanted 2 boys.
2024
The last of the boys and our number 5. Family is complete but the hair story continues...
